Can't believe that it's the weekend already!! This time, last week, I spent the long weekend (the one with the whole Pertabalan Agong and Labor Day and all) in Paris..
The last couple of months haven't been easy on me so it was a break that I truly needed.. and a break in Paris? Who could say no? Oui?
I had 4 full days of good company, good food and of course good surroundings.. 3 days of shopping on Champs-Élysées, Parcs Disneyland et Walt Disney Studios on Sunday and of course our neverending hunt for cycling shops. You would think that The City of Cycling would adorn cycling shops by the blocks but it wasn't that easy locating one at all! My mistake was not doing my thorough research prior to our trip, as I was under the impression that how hard could it be to find ONE shop???
Sport stores did carry cycling gear.. however the selection of jerseys were rather disappointing. We took Saturday and the whole of Monday just cycling shop hunting.. on foot, Metro AND cab. By the end of Monday, I still didn't have a Team Jersey that was "all France"
...which actually reminds me of a funny line only The One would understand..
"well, it's either spanish or "france".. hahaha... *muaxxx*"
ahh.. darn memories...
The writer is craving a 50km easy ride AND Pizza Massimo at Pizza Pino at time of writing. Le Tour de France anyone?
P/s: I think it's awfully cute upon hearing my weekend in Paris, Rozie has invited me up to Rotterdam to see her cute little baby, Aiman Erasmus.. my little adik, Gee has asked me up to Dublin.. and Randy has told me to take another break, in Hawaii.. Do you really think that I print money for a living? *raised eyebrow*
